Vince's keyboards are waaayyy too forward in the mix on the second set, pretty much ruining it. Unless, of course you like the sound of cheesy 80's easy listening/church circus keyboards. I'm hesitant to give this show even three stars.

Now if I'd paid attention to the review in the Taper Compendium I'd probably have given this one a miss, was after a nice 92 show to give a little extra attention to and find this full of interest.

Jack Straw has some power in the jam, West LA is nice, a bit too much MIDI in Music.... 2nd set, I never heard a Victim that I didn't like.... these early high speed Waves to the Wind are great with some really interesting playing... Crazy>Uncle John makes for a nice relaxing combo. Watchtower doesn't rage quite as much as sometimes but is still interesting, Dew is GREAT for the 90s (and good for any period).
Gloria encore, not among my favourite songs really, but it makes a change, it's fun, and quite powerful.

Oh and the reviews on the other source. Breaking into and thieving from a bar? Really, Deadheads? Uncool.
